FAQ

What should I wear for my lesson?

Close-toed boots (cowboy, paddock, work boots, etc.) are all great options. Additionally, jeans or riding pants are common in polo.

What do you provide?

The horse and all of its tack, mallet, and everything needed to play the game! Our horses will come fully tacked and prepared for you to go. If you own a helmet- you are encouraged to bring it.

What should I expect to learn in my first lesson?

Each lesson is planned based on riding experience, but you can expect to leave knowing how to: hold the reins for polo, steer a polo pony, hit the ball on the offside, and execute basic defensive maneuvers.

Can I watch a match?

Absolutely! Polo practices and games at Cerro Pampa are open to the public. Feel free to watch Saturdays and Sundays at 10 am or Wednesdays at 5 pm. If you have any questions about attending reach out to Erik.
